To Anyone Still Mastering The Bike that is Internet
Marketing!
We hope the analogy makes sense to you, and if we may,
we'd like to expand on it a little.
Can you remember how difficult it seemed learning to
ride a bicyle? And if so – what help did you get?
In most cases, and we're
sure you'll agree – Not many people just jump on
and are successful?
Here's our thinking based on long ago memories (come
on – let's do a little time travel and see if you
can remember learning to ride a bike)
Once upon a time we were all children, and nearly every
one of us at some point got a bike for Christmas...
Sure – we might have had a 3 wheeler to start,
or even a small one with stabilisers on it... But at
some point we envied the big kids who had the skills
and freedom to jump on their bikes and ride off into
the land of fun and excitement!
But what about us?
Chances are we would tentatively sit and struggle, trying
as we may to balance the bike and get more than a couple
of feet before we fell and cried :(
And all we'd get from our mentors (our loved ones
and friends) would be encouraging words of "Keep
Practicing"!
Does any of this sound
familiar so far? (Don't worry, we'll get to how it
relates to Internet marketing soon...lol)
We're sure you would agree that when it comes to learning
to ride a bike, the worst thing you could do is walk
to the top of a big cobbled and pothole filled hill,
jump on and go for it. There are some who would probably
survive and make it to the bottom... that would find
the solution to balance, control and forward thinking
and actually succeed, But I'm sure you would agree it
would be a rare individual!
And
let's be honest here... that happens in Internet Marketing
too! Some rare individuals find their own success with
no help whatsoever!
But for most would be cyclists
...
They probably get sucked into the hype and teasing of
the big kids who know exactly how to ride, as they show
off their skills and keep telling everyone how EASY
it is.
They all promise to show you how and teach you what
they know in exchange for a large share of your sweet
allowance .....
And as soon as you've handed it over - they say "Here
look,... this is how it's done.... See Ya!"
The embarrasment and frustration
you feel could almost break your heart couldn't it?
We know - we've been there.
Both in terms of learning to ride a bike AND making
making money online, In fact the two stories seem
to have many parallels!
Thankfully
we had someone looking out for us (and
we hope you did too) maybe a big brother who for
only a smaller portion of the sweets we bought, held
the back of our seats and explained what we needed to
do on our level and at our own pace.
So we did eventually conquer the bike riding, and we're
sure you did too with a little help and encouragement!
We bet you felt total joy
and triumph at having conquered it, having reached your
goal,
Well we're here to tell
you that making money, and we mean regular exciting

Thankfully, I eventually found a genuine mentor
(they are out there – they're just not as well promoted

basically – I felt like I had finally found a 'big brother'
who would hold my seat while I learned to ride the IM

who have a good business, I too have had my share of

suppose I should bring Craig back into this letter now
(otherwise I'll ramble on for an age...lol)
The funny thing is – his story is very similar
to mine, which I'm guessing might just be similar to
yours too?
Craig never failed as much as I did, and he found genuine
help sooner than me and from a different source (see
I told you they are out there ;)) ... He also learned
the same lessons I did!
So much so that around a year or so after meeting at
